Prayer and Worship Services

Every Saturday evening, we're partnering with our good friends from God Rock Church for simple hour-long services devoted to prayer and worship. Each service weaves back-and-forth between singing and themed times of prayer and Scripture reading, in a sustained atmosphere of focus on Jesus.

Like most churches, the facility we're renting from has not yet been able to find a practical way to disinfect their children's facilities between services. So, for now, we're not able to offer children's programs or a nursery.

Children are welcome to attend the service, and we understand they will always make some level of noise; we just ask that any children attending not be a significant distraction to others during the service. Children may not be left unattended (e.g. in the lobby) but are welcome to occupy themselves with things like phones/tablets with headphones.

Due to COVID-19, there is a strict 50-person limit on the number of people allowed in the building at any given time. For this reason, and the potential need for contact tracing, pre-registration is required in order to attend. Please note:

- Each individual, including children, must be pre-registered.

- If you have registered and need to cancel for any reason, please let us know so that we can free up your seat.

Registration opens for members of New Hope at 8am Monday the week of.

Registration for guests opens at 8am Tuesday the week of.

We are following all of the B.C. government's health recommendations, in order to provide the safest possible environment for those attending. This includes:

- Limiting the number of people in the building to 50 or less.

- Requiring pre-registration for each service, in the event contact tracing is required.

- Pre-assigned seating, with "bubbles" (e.g. families, couples) seated 6' apart (in all directions).

- 12' of space between the only 2 groups facing each other while singing (the worship team and the front row of the congregation).

- Surfaces sterilised between services (e.g. door handles, bathroom faucets).

- Complimentary face masks are available but not required.

- Immediately removing any person displaying symptoms of a cold or the flu.
