We exist to help people connect with God

and experience the fullness of life that He has for them.

*Due to current provincial health orders, in-person services are suspended until further notice. Please follow us on social media for the latest updates on where and when we're meeting in-person, whenever possible.

God loves you. Really! No matter where you're coming from, where you've been, what you've done, or who you are. He loves you.

New Hope Church exists to help you connect with the God who made you, loves you, knows you better than you know yourself, and has good plans for your life. We believe that the hope, joy, love, peace, and significance that we each long for is only found in a relationship with Jesus.

So, we gather together in buildings and homes to sing about what God has done for us, study what He has to say to us through His Word (the Bible), pray together, encourage each other, and serve one another.

If you're interested in an authentic connection with God that is built on truth, we'd love to have you join us as our guest. We hope we see you soon!

What to Expect

Due to COVID-19, there is a strict 50-person limit on the number of people allowed in the building at any given time. For this reason, and the potential need for contact tracing, pre-registration is required in order to attend. Please note:

- Each individual, including children, must be pre-registered.

- If you have registered and need to cancel for any reason, please let us know ASAP so that we can free up your seat.

Registration opens for members of New Hope Church at 8am Monday the week of.

Registration for guests opens at 8am Tuesday the week of.

We are following all of the B.C. government's health recommendations, in order to provide the safest possible environment for those attending. This includes:

- Limiting the number of people in the building to 50 or less.

- Requiring pre-registration for each service, in the event contact tracing is required.

- Hand sanitizer required upon entry to the church building.

- Complimentary masks made available (but not required) at every service.

- Pre-assigned seating, with "bubbles" (e.g. families, couples) seated 6' apart (in all directions).

- 12' of space between the only 2 groups facing each other while singing (the worship team and the front row of the congregation).

- Surfaces sterilised between services (e.g. door handles, bathroom faucets).

- Immediately removing any person displaying symptoms of a cold or the flu.

In mid-August 2020, we polled all of our church families regarding their comfort level with restarting our children's ministries. Almost every family shared they did not yet feel comfortable moving in that direction. For that reason, we are not currently offering children's ministries.

We will reevaluate the situation in the near future, likely when the majority of families begin sending their children to school in the fall.

In the meantime, children are welcome to attend services. We understand they will always make some level of noise; we just ask that any children attending not be a significant distraction to others during the service. Children may not be left unattended (e.g. in the lobby) but are welcome to occupy themselves with things like phones/tablets with headphones.
